Introduction
In order to attend Officer Candidate School (OCS), you must first pass a fitness test. The test is comprised of four events: sit-ups, push-ups, a 1.5-mile run, and a 500-meter swim. You must score at least 50 points in each event in order to pass the test.
The sit-up portion of the test requires you to do as many sit-ups as possible in two minutes. The push-up portion of the test requires you to do as many push-ups as possible in two minutes. The 1.5-mile run must be completed in 15 minutes or less. The 500-meter swim must be completed in 10 minutes or less.
You will be given three chances to pass the fitness test. If you fail all three times, you will not be allowed to attend OCS.
