Cardiorespiratory fitness

Cardiorespiratory fitness is defined as the ability of the body’s circulatory and respiratory systems to supply oxygen to muscles during sustained physical activity. It is a measure of how well the heart, lungs and blood vessels work together to supply oxygen to muscles. Aerobic exercise, such as walking, running or swimming, can improve cardiorespiratory fitness.

Muscular strength
Muscular strength is the amount of force a muscle can generate. It is a measure of the ability of a muscle or group of muscles to exert force against resistance, such as weights. Strength training exercises, such as lifting weights, can improve muscular strength.

Muscular endurance
Muscular endurance is the ability of a muscle or group of muscles to sustain repeated contractions or to maintain a fixed muscular contraction for an extended period of time. Endurance training exercises, such as running or cycling, can improve muscular endurance.
